Methods

FedEx

FedEx Ground is less expensive but takes longer.  Faster FedEx may not deliver as committed when the weather is bad.  Weight and volume matter.

USPS

The largest Regional B box is a little smaller than the Large Flat Rate.  Priority Express is a lot more expensive than Priority 2-Day.  Regional price sheet sets your source location as Zone 1.  If Alameda is Zone 1, then Boston is Zone 8.
